Noel Osborne – BIO

Noel Osborne is a filmmaker, recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur whose career spans music, film, and literature across Canada and the United States. Beginning as a child performer, he later studied at Musicians Institute in Hollywood and trained under renowned vocal coach Seth Riggs.

In the early 1990s, Osborne released his independent single “Love Connection” and signed a development deal with A&M Records Canada. He co-wrote “Bridge of Love” on the Juno Award–nominated album Blindfolded and Ready by EarthTONES. His music catalog — including solo releases and production work under the moniker “Big O” — has surpassed one million streams across digital platforms. He continues to release projects as a solo artist while collaborating across genres, including his 2025 feature on the Smash Hits Latin soul project You Know We Got That Soul. He also collaborated with Bran Van 3000 on the album Rosé and released the single “Maybe” through O Entertainment Group in partnership with Bungalo Records and Universal Music Group Distribution.

Osborne is best known as the director of Irie: Journey of a King, chronicling the life of King Sporty, the original writer of Buffalo Soldier, later made internationally famous by Bob Marley. His recent work includes the documentary A Cowboy’s Song, the scripted drama Wild Rose Country, the literary dystopian project The Land of the Mimbies, and the memoir Failing My Way to the Top.

He is the founder and CEO of O Entertainment Group Inc. and a partner and producer at Playa Vista Entertainment Inc., where he develops film and television projects.
